Intelligence agencies of foreign powers can threaten Canadian journalists at will. This was the case again this year as the Pakistani Counsel General of Toronto was caught on tape threatening Canadian journalists Tarek Fatah and Tahir Gora. The fact that the Canadian government refuses to act on this shows how the government and Prime Minister Trudeau put their so-called global values over the rights of Canadian citizens.
