Quiggin Report #23 - Danforth Shooting: Informed Speculation

Why do we have the full court government and media effort to tell us that there was no terrorism involved in the Danforth attack of 22 July 2018? Maybe the big story here is not the Danforth shooting. Maybe the big story is questions about the intersection of crime, drugs, guns and terrorism. The circumstances around this event lean towards supporting those who believe that the drug trade does intersect with funding for terrorism. Also, this event may draw attention to Canada’s opioid problem which is killing, quite literally, thousand of Canadians.
