Professor Gerry Killeen on the Delta wave peaking in September

The State will reach a “high level” of Covid-19 protection from vaccines in mid-September, after which point the numbers of new cases should start to decline. That’s according to Professor Philip Nolan, head of the NPHET data modelling group. His point is that 90 per cent of the adult population should be fully vaccinated by then.
