<p>One of the freedoms patients in America currently have is in jeopardy in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. It is the freedom to leave a doctor’s office, hospital, or nursing home against medical advice. It’s also known as “leaving AMA”.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Some patients, for example, already lost the right. They are the mentally ill.
