Presidential election: Atiku should retire from politics – Adeyanju

<p>Socio-political activist Deji Adeyanju has advised the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to retire from politics.</p>, <p>Tweeting, Adeyanju wrote: “Atiku is convinced he won the election but doesn’t know how to prove it. Just stressing himself for nothing. He should retire from politics and support a younger person in 2027. Politics must not always be about self.”</p>, <p>Earlier, the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja had reserved judgement in the petition filed by Atiku against the victory of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).</p>, <p>The five-man panel, led by Justice Haruna Tsammani, reserved judgement for a date to be communicated to the parties.</p>
