<p><strong>SERMON OUTLINE (17/07/22)</strong></p> <p><strong>Praying for boldness: Acts 4: 23-31</strong></p> <p>1. <strong>The Introduction:</strong> What is the greatest need in the church today? Prayer.</p> <p>1.1 <strong>Big Idea:</strong> To help us to pray for boldness as a witness we now turn to vv23-31 of Acts ch4 to look at two things to see how powerful prayer is and to see the power of God to whom we pray (23-31)</p> <p>2. The first thing is: to pray to the sovereign God of the universe (23-28)</p> <p>3. The second thing is: to pray according to God’s will (29-31)</p> <p>4. <strong>Conclusion:</strong> the exhortation: Will we allow these two things to help us to pray for boldness as a witness from vv23-31 of Acts ch6: to see how powerful prayer is and to see the power of God to whom we pray (23-31)</p> <p><strong>Reflection:</strong> Do you know that prayer is one of our greatest needs in the church? Are you a man or woman of prayer? Are you praying to the sovereign God for boldness in witnessing? Are you praying according to God will for boldness in witnessing?
