<p>Praise God For Who He Is And For What He Has Done <br>Psalm 145:1-13</p><p>Known as Psalm 145, David wrote the first of the last final five songs recorded in the book of Psalms, affirming God’s attributes that were revealed through His mighty, glorious, and wonderful works as they have witnessed historically and experienced as a nation – Israel. <br>David exhorts that God’s character and acts were the reasons why He is worshipped and praised. </p><p>1. David personally praised God as King everyday. He declared that he would praise His Name forever and ever. (vv. 1-2)</p><p>Application:<br>- Let us individually praise God every day.<br>- Expect that we will praise Him for eternity. </p><p>2. God’s greatness is declared from one generation to the next; His divine acts are made known and proclaimed. (vv. 3-7)</p><p>Application:<br>- Let us share what God has done as recorded in the Bible to our children, our loved ones, friends, and community.<br>- Let us listen and learn, as other people would experientially tell of God’s goodness to them.<br>- Because of the home quarantine government directive, these two applications can be done in the context of our own family devotions and through “online” growth group meeting and fellowship.</p><p>3. God’s grace, mercy, lovingkindness, and goodness are for all. God’s people speak of His glorious everlasting kingdom and His dominion through all generations. (vv. 8-13)</p><p>Application:<br>- God’s grace, mercy, lovingkindness, and goodness is expressed through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior, He died on the cross and resurrected from death to pay the penalty of our sin – spiritual death and eternal separation from God. Let us repent of our sins and believe in Jesus.<br>- Let us keep sharing the good news of salvation and hope through faith in Christ alone.</p>
