Post-Election Violence: Zamfara Police arrest 57 suspects over vandalism, looting, others

<p>The Commissioner of Police, Kolo Yusuf while applauding the people of Zamfara State for their unalloyed support and partnership, tasked them to sustain the synergy with the Police and other security agencies for effective service delivery.</p>, <p>“On Friday 31st March 2023 Police detectives while on patrol arrested one of the notorious members of Sara – Suka terrorising Gusau and its environ”</p>, <p>“On 29th March 2023 at about 0330am, Police operatives while on patrol acted on intelligence information and arrested the above-named suspect who was already on the wanted list of the Police for banditry, kidnapping and other heinous crime against the good people of Zamfara State”, the statement added.</p>, <p>“In the course of investigations, the suspect confessed to a series of attacks and kidnappings on different communities in Zamfara State where millions of Naira were collected as ransom from the relations. The suspect who further confessed to bearing GPMG during their operations mentioned some of his allies which the police detectives are working assiduously to arrest.
