Police hunt for suspect over fatal shooting at Lagos nightclub

<p>The Police in Lagos State have initiated a manhunt for a suspect known as Trevboi in connection with the alleged shooting and the death of a man in Fadeyi on Friday night.</p>, <p>A member of the public, with the Twitter handle @cloud_target, had alleged that the suspect killed his friend, Kenny, at a nightclub on Friday during an argument.</p>, <p>“Shot and killed my friend at Bar 38 Club, Fadeyi. Known as Trevboi. He’s armed and dangerous.</p>, <p>“Wherever you are Trevboi, you’ll pay the price. The kind of person people are trying to make excuse for. A known murderer,” he posted.</p>, <p>The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident on Monday on his verified Twitter handle, said that the police had begun an investigation.</p>, <p>“We commenced investigation minutes after the incident happened. The suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot. The car and the documents in it are in our custody,” he said.</p>
