Pod 279 - How to offset emissions as a cannabis producer

<p>On this episode of BofC Live, we connect with Sébastien St-Louis the CEO of HEXO, a leading cannabis producer in Canada.</p><p>HEXO has recently committed to <a href="https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2021/06/08/2243398/0/en/HEXO-Corp-commits-to-ESG-leadership-starts-by-offsetting-100-of-carbon-emissions-and-plastic-packaging.html" target="_blank">becoming carbon neutral by September 2021</a> while at the same time offsetting the emissions of all 1,200 of their employees. We wanted to connect with St-Louis to talk about the origins of this commitment and how they will implement this goal.</p><p>As well, HEXO has announced a significant string of acquisitions over the past several months, including Redecan, 48North and Zenabis – placing HEXO near, or at, the top of cannabis companies in Canada. We wanted to check in with St-Louis to hear how these acquisitions factor into HEXO’s long-term strategy.</p>
