Description

Ep #226 - Addiction recovery at it's heart is about personal growth and self-discovery. We chose to accept this journey when we sought sobriety as a way of life - or atleast you all chose this mindset because you do, after all, listen to this show.

Today let's get a bit philosophical. Let's explore our ways of thinking...not to necessarily change our opinions, values, beliefs, etc., but to check ourselves a bit, to step further into the sunshine and out of the shade.

Topics for today:

That which you resist persists.

Restriction causes friction

Loosely held strong opinions

Do not take things personally

Self-awareness

Philosophical hypothesis:

1. It doesn't stop. Growing is always happening BUT it can slow down and in a world where we can create our best selves it is imperative we know when we can work a little harder or take a rest day.

Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place,
