Peter Obi storms Supreme Court, wants Tinubu’s election nullified

<p>The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the last election, Peter Obi, has filed an appeal on 51 grounds at the Supreme Court.</p>, <p>The former Anambra State governor cited dissatisfaction with the ruling Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, which dismissed its case.</p>, <p>Recall that Obi had approached the Tribunal, seeking to be declared the winner of the February 25 Presidential Election.</p>, <p>The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had declared Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the winner of the polls.</p>, <p>Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, however, are challenging the declaration of INEC in court.</p>, <p>The tribunal had upheld the victory of Bola Tinubu, with both Obi and Atiku vowing to seek justice at the apex court.</p>, <p>But Peter Obi has now filed his petition at the Supreme Court.</p>
