Peter N. Ackerson, General Partner at FinVC

Peter is a General Partner at FinVC, where he is responsible for sourcing investments and adding operating value at the portfolio company level. Prior to FinVC, he was CFO and Partner at SymphonyAI, a $1 billion early-stage investment and incubation platform, where he held investing, operating, and board member roles in several AI technology companies across the Finance, Healthcare, Infrastructure, and Media verticals. Peter has also worked with McKinsey &amp; Co’s early and mid-stage SaaS practice; at Wells Fargo’s Technology Equity Research group (including working on the Facebook, Workday, ServiceNow, and Marin Software IPOs) and at Merrill Lynch in their investment banking division.<br><br>He is passionate about the commercialization of frontier technologies and the disruption of legacy markets and business models. His professional experience includes co-founding several technology companies as well as roles in investment banking, corporate M&amp;A, consulting, and early and mid-stage growth companies.<br><br>Peter holds an MBA from the University of Virginia, where he was elected for the Raven Society and a BBA in Finance from the College of William &amp; Mary.<br><br>Tune in to this exciting show!</p>
