‘Peseiro can’t take Nigeria to World Cup’ – Timi Dakolo tells NFF

<p>Popular singer and songwriter Timi Dakolo has told the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro cannot take Nigeria to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.</p>, <p>Dakolo said this while reacting to Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Lesotho in the World Cup qualifier on Thursday evening.</p>, <p>DAILY POST had earlier reported that Peseiro’s men drew 1-1 against Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.</p>, <p>Second-half goals from Motlomelo Mkhwanazi and Semi Ajayi ensured both teams shared a point each.</p>, <p>Reacting, Dakolo, in a tweet via his X account, also branded the Super Eagles’ display as ‘very embarrassing.’</p>, <p>“Dear @thenff, this coach can’t be the best coach available for a country like Nigeria,” he tweeted.</p>, <p>“This is very embarrassing. This man can’t take the Super Eagles to the World Cup. It is actually painful to watch.”</p>, <p>Nigeria will face Zimbabwe in their next World Cup qualifier on Sunday.</p>
