Peace Amid Disappointment | Luke 24:13-35

No one felt this disappointment more than the disciples on the Emmaus Road. They expected the Messiah to come and conquer the Roman empire, yet Jesus meets them to rebuke how they are not trusting in God's promises. In sum, the revelation of Jesus brings peace in disappointment. </p>
