On This Green Earth , Nell Larson and Chris Cherniak welcome Dr. Fritjof Capra. Capra is one of the most prominent thought leaders in the study of systems theory, which is the study of how complex, interrelated groups are affected by their environment and affected by each other. Dr. Capra is also the founding director of the Center for EcoLiteracy located in Berkeley, CA., which promotes ecology and systems thinking in primary and secondary education. He will be discussing the concepts behind Systems Theory, as well as his new book, Patterns of Connection - Essential Essays from Five Decades.
