Hundreds of thousands of people die every year in India, even though their lives could have been saved if someone else who dies had donated their organs. People of all ages, irrespective of gender, blood group, skin color etc. can donate their organs. Each person has the potential to save up to 8 lives. And yet, only 0.08% of people have registered to be organ donors. Many people don't because they feel they are too old or not fit.
