This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.</p> <p> </p> <p>This prayer is for the safety of our children and the safety of people.</p> <p> </p> <p>Father God, in the name of Jesus, I give you glory and honor and praise. And I worship your name, oh God. When your name is holy, you are my God. And God I pray specifically today for those that are dealing with fear and anxiety as a result of the recent happenings in our country. I pray to God in the name of Jesus, that you would be the strength that they need. That you would be the healing that they need.</p> <p> </p> <p>And God, I pray in the name of Jesus that they will not succumb to the negative that is related to all of the tragedy, god. That they will not become overwhelmed with the oppression and of depression, but they will find their strength in you. They will find their answers in you in Jesus' name.</p> <p> </p> <p>And God, we give you glory. We give you praise, even though we have suffered a great loss, especially the children and the babies. But we know that the children and the babies are in your arms and they're safe with you, Jesus. I pray that you would comfort the hearts and minds of the parents. God, in the name of Jesus, that you would give them the strength and the grace that they need to walk through this valley of the shadow of death.</p> <p> </p> <p>I know you with them.
