Paralympics, hurling championship and warm weather training

<p>Apologies, first of all that this week's episode is a day late. </p> <p>The exploits of Nicole Turner and Gary O'Reilly at the Paralympics mean that we're recording this week on Tuesday morning instead. </p> <p>And we start by offering our congratulations to Nicole and Gary who have claimed silver and bronze medals respectively. Alan chats through their performances and anticipates a serious homecoming for both in the coming days. </p> <p>We also look back on a busy weekend of club hurling championship action. </p> <p>Have Rathdowney-Errill justified their status as favourites? What of Camross? </p> <p>Did Castletown cause an upset or is it second-season syndrome for Rosenallis? And did Abbeyleix let Borris-Kilcotton off the hook?</p> <p>We also discuss the Premier Intermediate grade where Ballyfin were narrow winners over Ballinakill while Portlaoise, Rathdowney-Errill and Clonaslee all had big wins. </p> <p>In the intermediate grade, The Harps, Clough-Ballacolla, Borris-Kilcotton and Trumera all had wins while a red mist descended on Mountrath and Mountmellick, Clonad and Park-Ratheniska are all on the back foot after opening round losses. </p> <p> </p>
