<p>The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) reaffirms its commitment to the peace, unity, and progress of the Nigerian state.</p>, <p>The group has renewed its pledge to Nigeria as it prepares to hold a crucial meeting on Friday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.</p>, <p>In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of PANDEF, Dr Ken Robinson, the group said the meeting would be presided over by the National Chairman, Senator Emmanuel Ibok Essien.</p>, <p>According to him, the forum “will deliberate on the State of the Nation; recent socio-political developments in the region, and the country, in general, particularly the current situation of Federal Agencies with direct bearing on the Niger Delta, road infrastructure, and other related matters.”</p>, <p>The statement read in part:</p>, <p>“Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, the apex socio-cultural body of the Niger Delta people, will hold an expanded National Executive Committee Meeting, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Friday, 28th July 2023.</p>, <p>“The meeting, which will be presided over by the National Chairman, Senator Emmanuel Ibok Essien, will deliberate on the State of the Nation; recent socio-political developments in the Region, and the Country, in general, particularly the current situation of Federal Agencies with direct bearing on the Niger Delta, Road Infrastructure, and other related matters.</p>, <p>“The Uyo gathering will also initiate steps to strengthen its Structures, for greater service delivery.</p>, <p>“Members of the Forum’s Board of Trustees, National and State Executive Committees, and Critical Stakeholders from the Coastal States of the Niger Delta Region have been invited to attend the meeting.</p>, <p>“Meanwhile, PANDEF restates that it remains strongly committed to the promotion of peace, unity, and sustainable development, not only in the Niger Delta Region but, also, in the entire Country.”</p>, <p>YOU SHOULD NOT MISS THESE HEADLINES FROM NIGERIAN TRIBUNE</p>, <p>Full text: See Obi’s written address to Tinubu</p>, <p>Labour Party leg
