<p><strong>SERMON OUTLINE (10/05/20)</strong></p> <p><strong>Overcoming the world: 1 John 5: 1-5</strong></p> <p>1. <strong>The Introduction:</strong> Are we overcoming the world God’s way?</p> <p>1.1 <strong>Big Idea:</strong> To help us overcome the world God's way here are two truths from 1 John 5: 1-5 (1-5)</p> <p>2. The first truth is: do we know God (1, 5)</p> <p>3. The second truth is: are we obeying God’s Word (2, 3)</p> <p>4. <strong>Conclusion: the exhortation:</strong> These two truths from 1 John 5: 1-5 to help us overcome the world God’s way: will we allow them to help us (1-5)</p> <p><strong>Reflection</strong>: How are you overcoming the world? Are you overcoming the world God’s way? &nbsp;Do you know God? Are you obeying God's Word to overcome the world? Is God's Word a lamp to your feet and a light to your path?
