Overcoming Societal Pressure in India

Today's episode is with Indian singer-songwriter, Jatin Khurana. In this conversation, we talk about Jatin's huge decision to walk away from studying engineering to pursue his dream of music - a very unusual path to take in India, where there is a lot of societal pressure to study engineering and sciences. We talk about how important Jatin’s community of fellow musicians in Mumbai have been to his success, and how he has fused his Indian roots and Hindi language with western styles of music to create something new and original within the Indian music scene.
