Ours to Protect Barry Murphy on Nitrates Derogation

Agriculture in the country has an important role to play in the quality of our water. Farmers in Ireland have expressed their concerns about the possible changes to the county's nitrates derogation. A lowering of the stocking limit would mean farmers would need to reduce their herd size or secure more land in order to meet EU requirements.
