Osimhen delighted with Ballon d’Or nomination

<p>Victor Osimhen has said that his nomination for the Ballon d’Or is a dream come true.</p>, <p>The Napoli hitman was among the 30 players nominated for the 2023 men’s Ballon d’Or by the organisers, France Football Magazine, on Wednesday.</p>, <p>Osimhen made history as the first Nigerian to make the shortlist for the prestigious award.</p>, <p>The forward expressed happiness with his nomination.</p>, <p>“I must say it is a dream come true for me. It is a big honour for me and my family,” Osimhen told reporters in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.</p>, <p>“I have worked so hard for a moment like this, and I must say it is a reward for all the years of hard work and dedication. This can only spur me to do better and get more recognition.”</p>
