Oscar Loves... Making History

<p>This month, Mark and Izzy divert from their planned double feature to discuss this year's Best Picture winner <em>CODA</em> and the ceremony itself. </p> <p>In a year that will no doubt go down in history for one specific moment, there were many others that were also groundbreaking. </p> <p>DIrected and adapted by Sian Heder, <em>CODA</em> tells the story of Ruby (Emilia Jones) - the only hearing child of deaf adults, Jackie (Oscar winner Marlee Matlin), and Frank (Oscar winner Troy Kotsur) - who must balance the needs of her family's fishing business against the opportunity to audition for music college.</p>
