The purpose of law fare is to silence people. No libel suit filed by an Islamist has made it to trial. There is a reason for this. The lawsuits are spurious. But they work. The reason they work is the researcher or the newspaper is tied up legal costs. The intent of the lawsuit is to deprive you of your voice while costing you lots of money.
