Description

Cold air will impact the Tri-state area for one more day before a nice warm-up this weekend with an upper-level ridge out west shifting eastward over the Rockies. This morning’s wind chills below zero and temps in the single digits will rebound into the upper 20’s to low 30’s. Over the weekend the high-pressure ridge will bring westerly down-sloping winds and more seasonal temperature readings into the 50’s Saturday to around 60 on Sunday. Monday a back door cool front drops temps into the lower 50’s for a day. Tuesday high-pressure moves eastward with warmer southwesterly flow over the area will push temps into the upper 60’s to around 70-degrees and starts to feel Spring like as area schools begin their Spring breaks.
