On Black Birth Experiences and Black Maternal Health Awareness, Pt. 1 (w/ Tise Karunwi)

In this episode, I'm joined by a friend of mine, Tise Karunwi. She's a loving wife, a mother to two handsome boys, and she's a nurse. We discuss the very important issue of black maternal mortality in the United States. According to the CDC, black women are three to four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related issues than white women.
