OCEANS MATTER to Sylvia Earle

<blockquote><em>“Everyone everywhere is inextricably connected to and utterly dependent upon the<br /> existence of the sea.”</em></blockquote> <p>Sylvia Earle was named the first Hero of the Planet by Time Magazine and she has been a National Geographic Society Explorer in Residence since 1998.
