NZ Test series: Day 8 – Root, Burns centuries lay solid base for England

Joe Root batted the entirety of day three in Hamilton to help put England in a strong position to at least avoid defeat and maybe even seal a series levelling victory. He combined with fellow centurion Rory Burns to record England's highest partnership of the calendar year.
