<p>Nthenya Mwendwa is the founder, creative director and designer of an emerging luxury leather bag brand, THE.LABEL.SABA. A Brand that represents "Redefined Nomadism".</p> <p>The movement of traditional culture through the passages of refined luxury, bringing us to a "new age heritage". Transcendent. Eternal. African.</p> <p>She studied at the Arsutoria School in Milan, Italy. Her interest in merging sustainability and fashion, brought about the opportunity to work with raw materials such as fish leather and a chance to work alongside the Masai women in her community. The use fish leather and intricate Masai beading, allowed for exploration, experimentation and creation.
