There are certain stages that, as moms, we worry about arriving when we have children. Of course, people always talk about the various sleep regressions that happen in the first year, how horrible teething can be, and later on, the terrible twos. But the one thing no one warned me about enough was the separation anxiety phase — and how hard it is for both of us.
