No Joy_No Victory_2

<p>Tuesday 15th June&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>&nbsp;No joy, No victory 2</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A lot of us complain about the challenges and frustrations around. We pay so much attention to the wrongs and distortions going on in our world but the truth is this; There is little or nothing you can do about the things around you.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Like they say, "You can't do anything about the birds that fly over your head but you can keep them from building a nest in your hair".</p> <p>This explains that we do not have direct control over the things that go on in the world but it's totally up to us whether or not to allow those situations to settle in our heart thereby affecting our state of mind.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Therefore, it's important we guard our hearts and make sure it's filled with the joy of the Lord which ensures the pressure of life does not rush in on us and take us down.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;Joel 1:11-12(NKJV)</p> <p>&nbsp;11. Be ashamed, you farmers, Wail, you vinedressers, For the wheat and the barley; Because the harvest of the field has perished.12. The vine has dried up, And the fig tree has withered; The pomegranate tree, The palm tree also, And the apple tree All the trees of the field are withered; Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The trouble in the world is not the reason for your sadness, you are sad because you made that choice. Of course, the trouble and distress in the world is real but it's down to our choices, whether we want to settle with the trouble around us or stay above the chaos.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>No matter the challenges and demands in our world, we must guard our hearts. The Bible says " Guard your heart above every other thing because out of the heart flows forces that change and transform lives" and one of the forces in your heart is the force of joy. Ensure you guard it. Why? When there is no joy, there will be no victory.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>God bless you. Enjoy your day.</p>
