<p>&nbsp;Monday 14 June&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>No Joy, No Victory</p> <p><br></p> <p>We’ve been talking about Joy and all through this week, we will talk about the fact that if there is no joy in our lives, there will be no victory.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Yesterday, we spoke about the connection between joy and the anointing and the fact that the anointing is what destroys the yoke of the enemy on our lives. We also read the story &nbsp;Jehoshaphat (2 Chronicles 20) how enemies came against him but by engaging &nbsp;joy and praise he had victory.</p> <p><br></p> <p>The simple is this; once there is no joy, victory is not in sight. Some so many people who came to meet Jesus; there was a case of this woman who was going to bury her son, she was already a widow and she was crying. The first thing Jesus told them was this; “weep not.” Why? Because it represented pain that if he was going to do something about this, she needed to stop weeping.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Also in Revelation 5 where John was talking about the fact that there was nobody in heaven that was found worthy to open the scroll. He said the elders came into the meeting and said, “weep not, the lamb of God has prevailed. If you going to see a great thing happen in your life, there must be joy in your life; you must stop the pain, sorrow and grief.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Joel 1:11 –12 (NKJV);</p> <p>11 Be ashamed, you farmers, wail, you vinedressers, For the wheat and the barley; Because the harvest of the field has perished.</p> <p>12 the vine has dried up, And the fig tree has withered; The pomegranate tree, The palm tree also, And the apple tree— All the trees of the field are withered; Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Everything was in a bad shape and there was no productivity. You will even think everything looks bad because of bad weather or situations. He said, “No, the reason is that joy was withered from the heart of men." So, the problem was really what was going on around; the problem lied within.&nbsp;</p> <
