<p>Kenneth Petty, the husband of popular American rapper, Nicki Minaj, has been sentenced to 120 days of house arrest.</p>, <p>Petty was sentenced for violating the terms of his probation by posting videos that appeared to threaten Cardi B’s husband, Offset, on social media.</p>, <p>In a court order filed in the Central District of California on Wednesday, Petty was ordered to undertake home monitoring after he “was recorded making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record”.</p>, <p>Rapper Offset was mentioned as a specific individual in the order and the clips relate to a series of messages Petty aimed at the rapper that appeared on the internet on September 16th.</p>, <p>Petty and some of his entourage are seen in the viral video outside a New York City hotel where Offset was reportedly residing.</p>, <p>In his threatening comments, Petty says, “Plan that vacation, you’re gonna be planning your funeral pussy.”</p>, <p>Recall that Petty was convicted of first degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995, and spent four years in prison in New York.</p>, <p>In July 2022, he was also sentenced to three years probation after pleading guilty to failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California in 2020.</p>
