NFF suspends 14 referees for poor performance

<p>The referees committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has suspended 14 referees for poor performance.</p>, <p>The referees’ suspension was announced in a statement released by the body on Monday.</p>, <p>There have been several questionable calls by referees in the Nigeria Premier Football League,NPFL, this season.</p>, <p>The latest was Imamu Maliki’s decision to chalk off an alleged legitimate goal scored by Remo Stars against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, on Sunday</p>, <p>The affected referees will remain suspended until proper investigations are carried on their activities.</p>, <p>The committee further noted that it would appreciate if full videos of all the games could be provided for proper evaluation of the performance of the referees.</p>
