New Year, Same Struggles - Episode 1: My Word for the Year

Welcome to the first podcast series of 2021: New Year, Same Struggles! While most people like to be positive and use the phrase, "New Year, New Me," I have to admit that a new me doesn't magically appear with a new year. That's why this series is all about acknowledging the struggle of trying to figure out my life in the New Years season, while also sharing some techniques I'm using to (hopefully) set myself up for success this year. I start out the series by discussing why I'm moving away from setting concrete New Years resolutions, describing the "word" strategy that I've used for the last year, and sharing what my word for 2021 is. But that's not all! I want to challenge you to choose a word for yourself too. That's not to say you can't have resolutions, but I want you to see the power that can come with setting a word as your intention in all areas of your life. I think it will help you achieve any goals/resolutions you have while making you feel like you maybe have your life a little more figured out by the end of the year!
