New Orleans Workers Strike; Fight Back Against Police Brutality

Today we’ll be talking about the recent police murders in Indiana. 3 people were killed by police within a 24 hour time frame, and protesters have emerged to demand justice. In response police fired pepper balls at protesters and have had significant retribution. Joining the show will be an organizer that was part of the demonstrations.Our second half of the show joining the show will be the representative of the New Orleans sanitation workers that are currently on strike to demand a livable wage of $15 an hour, up from $10.25 an hour, and PPE. The company contracted with the city fired all workers.
