Naas - Fairy Creek & Native Youth

Naas is the third land fender I interviewed in the Fairy Creek series. He is 24 years old, a two-spirit warrior (a term we talk about in the podcast) and a native youth leader from Hesquiaht, a Nuu-Chah-Nulth nation. This interview adds depth to the one I had with MarMar in addressing the difficulties native youth experience at the Fairy Creek blockade. Nass speaks openly about sexual abuse, the division in the native community, and the difficulty of coming together for a common purpose.
