Come enjoy a healing, natural, supportive and creative ambiance, as Reiki Southwest provides an afternoon of painting and fun - our very first PAINTING PARTY! If PAINTING PARTIES in the South Florida Keys-style proves to be a hit, we may continue this event. This stunning, surrealistic scenery in southwest Tucson - ‘skyhills’ and what local lore describes as ‘guardians’ — deserves to be painted! And after the past long hard year of Covid, we all deserve just a fun, social morning in the sun - with everything provided, of course! Tickets ($35 pre-paid or $50 at the gate) include choice of adult beverage/iced tea/lemonade/water upon arrival; use of paints/pencils/pastels as you choose; provision of brushes/easel; a canvas you take home and an experienced teacher on-hand to provide guidance if asked, suggestions and feedback as you wish. Your art teacher, Trista diGenova is an honors graduate of Berkeley, Oxford and Taipei Medical University and has exhibited her work around the world, as well as agent/promoter for many other artists’ works. Teacher Trista has exhibited in Paris/DC/Stockholm/Berkeley/Taipei, and featured many times in newspapers. So- does A heavy dose of desert natural beauty whilst munching on fruit and veggie snacks and learning from a professional artist sound like an idyllic mini-holiday?
