<p>Mysteries and quandaries in stuttering:&nbsp; Why do we not stutter when we sing?&nbsp; If someone reads in unison&nbsp;with me I don't stutter! What is masking and how is it I don't stutter when I cannot hear myself?&nbsp; I hear Emily Blunt, James Earl Jones, and Bruce Willis stutter in real life yet I have never heard them stutter when playing a character role!&nbsp; These age-old mysteries are clinically important and can lead research.</p>
