My Healing Breakthrough Came Through Fasting

<p>Our days are filled with distractions and excess; fullness is dullness, but hunger is passion. When we fast, we deny ourselves the pleasure of food to gain greater intimacy with God. We don’t fast to garner God’s favor; this is something we already possess. Fasting helps us to align with God’s will, plans, and purposes and to hunger after God more fully. When we empty ourselves, God will fill us. Fasting adds spiritual D-Y-N-A-M-I-T-E to our prayer lives.
