My brother not wrong for slapping police officer – Seun Kuti’s sister, Motunrayo

<p>Motunrayo, a sister of Grammy-nominated afrobeat artist, Seun Kuti, has said the music star is not wrong for assaulting the police officer in the viral video.</p>, <p>Recall that Seun Kuti was arrested and detained after he was captured in a viral video assaulting a police operative in uniform.</p>, <p>But reacting via a video message making the rounds on the internet, Motunrayo insisted that Seun was innocent.</p>, <p>She said, “I don’t know why people are annoyed that I’m supporting my brother. You people are supporting the police, so I should follow you and support the police or what?</p>, <p>“I don’t think my brother is wrong. My brother is not wrong. Nobody gets up and just slap somebody without any altercation.”</p>, <p>She added that police brutality wasn’t new to her family, stressing that they are not afraid.</p>
