Music Learning Theory with Dr. Kathy Liperote

Her teaching and research focus on the music learning process, connecting aural skills to instrumental performance, and developing musicianship skills for elementary and secondary level teaching. Dr. Liperote has presented at state and regional NAfME conferences</span><span style= "font-weight: 400;">,</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">and conducted professional development workshops most recently at Temple University, Baldwin Wallace University, and the Fort Worth Independent School District. She is also on the Instrumental Certification Faculty for the Gordon Institute for Music Learning. Prior to receiving the PhD in Music Education from the Eastman School, Dr. Liperote taught instrumental music for 15 years in the Baldwinsville and West Genesee School Districts in Central New York State.
