Description

Today and tomorrow, we will see a drastic change from yesterday’s 65-70-degrees as an upper-level trough and low kicks out of the 4-Corners and Arctic air and high-pressure sink south behind it. Today temps reach into the low 50’s midday when lighter southwest winds turn to the northeast and increase to 15-30 mph by evening and dropping overnight temps through the 20’s and teens to around zero at daybreak. Tuesday and Wednesday temps will only be in the low teens, while lows and wind chills fall below zero with some light snow or flurries possible in the evenings and early morning hours. Wednesday night another piece of energy rotates through the deep trough in Texas kicking up some light snow or flurries through noon Thursday. Friday high-pressure and southerly flow starts a warming trend into mid 20’s and low 30’s.
