More Heat & Isolated Storm Chances Today; Hot & Dry Fri/Sat; Storm Chances Sat into Sun; A bit Cooler Sun/Mon; Hot & Dry Tue-Fri

<p>Today will continue to be hot with afternoon highs climbing into the mid to upper 90’s, while an upper-level trough shortwave disturbance will traverse the northwest periphery of the ridge parked over the southern Plains and trigger some evening and overnight isolated thunderstorms.  Tomorrow, flow turns southwesterly as trough moves away, thus expect dry and hot conditions through the day and much of Saturday, ahead of a second upper-level trough and shortwave Saturday evening and Saturday night.  Saturday and Sunday late day scattered shower and storm chances will warrant and a stronger cold front on Sunday will lower daytime temperatures a bit, bringing them down into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s to end the weekend and start next week on Monday.     </p>
