Among all born again Christians, the divorce figure was 32%, which was statistically identical to the 33% figure among non-born again adults. We'll see that there are 19,353,568 divorces that takes place over the course of an average first marriage (which lasts approx. 8 years) that ends in divorce. What if these people are not born-again? Every 13 seconds, there is one divorce in America. That equates to 277 divorces per hour, 6,646 divorces per day, 46,523 divorces per week, and 2,419,196 divorces per year. Here are the reasons given for modern-day divorces and their percentages: 👉🏾Lack of commitment 73%. 👉🏾Argue too much 56%. 👉🏾Infidelity 55%. 👉🏾Married too young 46%. 👉🏾Unrealistic expectations 45%. 👉🏾Lack of equality in the relationship 44%. 👉🏾Lack of preparation for marriage 41%. 👉🏾Domestic Violence or Abuse 25%.
