Moog Conspiracy (https://soundcloud.com/moogc) United We Rise Podcast Nr. 093 🗯🗯 What’s your history with music in general and DJ-ing especially? 🗯🗯 I started to listen to music as a kid, my dad would bring 5 to 10 records from the record shop every weekend and i would go through most of them. I then started to play drums in bands, ranging from rock to metal. I start to get into electronic music when i was studying in Paris. We had a Bibliotheque that would rent us records for free and one of the team members was a big fan of electronic music, i started to get into it at this moment. I loved the first records of bpitch control back then. I moved to Berlin in 2006 with a plan of starting an electronic music label, i discovered my love for minimal techno in the clubs in Berlin and started to produce that style after some try at drum n bass . After my first Ep as Moog Conspiracy some requests came in and I got ready to play my first live set. People loved it and I started to dj later on. things turned out quite well, and I got to play at some festivals in Germany and then started to tour regularly abroad. 🗯🗯 What’s your favorite drink while being behind the decks in the Club? 🗯🗯 Moscow Mule 🗯🗯 How did you prepare this mix and what was your main inspiration? 🗯🗯 This mix contains mainly new music I have been digging for the past weeks. I selected mainly tracks I found deep and touching, that have something special. The set also contains some tracks of my new album "Constant Repetitive Rhythm" that is out on my label Elektrotribe and one track I released on Sportclub music this summer. The style is slightly different from my club set, as it doesn't need the drive of the night, its more a musical and personal approach on this mix.
