*)Qatari FM meets Taliban leadership Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani has met Taliban-appointed Afghan Prime Minister, Muhammad Hasan Akhund. The Qatari delegation also met former president Hamid Karzai, as well as politician Abdullah Abdullah in Kabul. Al Thani discussed concerted efforts to combat terrorist organizations that threaten Afghanistan's stability. The missiles reportedly flew 1,500 kilometres before hitting their targets and falling into the country's waters.
