Maïsha
Description

Hello and welcome to Cabin Boy Minute: Minute 4!

In Minute 4 we discuss Nathanial and his attire, his receipt of the telegram and Nathanial’s first encounter with Headmaster Timmons (Ivor M. Hobson), we briefly review the history of the Queen Catherine, try to determine the shape of Nathanial’s childhood, closely analyze Nathanial’s reaction to Timmons’ shoes, learn a bit about the history of Greystone Mansion and attempt to situate Stephenwood in time and place.

We once again tackle our standard questions for the minute: gags per minute, who wins the scene, funny/not funny, the relation of the scene to the quote, who is most embarrassed, and what could have made this scene more palatable to the general public.

Thanks again for listening, and if you missed any deep insights while pondering where we stole our shoes from, fear not, as more awaits you in Cabin Boy Minute: Minute 5!

Opening music is Take a Chance by Kevin MacLeod (modified) and licensed under CC BY 4.0.

Closing music is No Means No by The Freak Fandango Orchestra (modified) and licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

To watch and/or own the Cabin Boy movie, follow one of the links below (Cabin Boy Minute will get a cut of the proceeds if you purchase through these links)

To Order

Cabin Boy: Kino Lorber Special Edition Blu Ray DVD

<a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000068MBS/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=c
